November 2020

Welcome back to the Pierogi and Springroll monthly newsletter and happy November! Our blog is now two months old and has over 20 posts. We and are so excited to keep exploring Seattle (and beyond - more about that below), cooking up new recipes, and creating new content to share with you all.

 

This past month has been filled with autumn hikes and bike rides, lots of caffeine from our favorite coffee shops, and some warming fall recipes. Some of our favorite recipes we've shared with you are for our roasted cauliflower soup and pumpkin coconut curry - both are perfect for a cool fall evening. Most importantly, we pulled together key tips for voting in Seattle/King County. If you live in the area, remember to VOTE by dropping off your ballot in an official ballot drop box by 8PM November 3rd.

 

November and December are exciting months for us. We'll be taking a West Coast/Southwest road trip for a much needed vacation and to see family throughout the holiday season. You can expect to see posts from our adventures along the Oregon Coast, Central and Southern California, and New Mexico. It should be a delicious, colorful, and exciting way to explore new places, restaurants, and recipes.

October 2020

Welcome back to the Pierogi and Springroll monthly newsletter and happy October! We have officially passed the 1-month mark for our blog and are so excited to keep exploring Seattle, cooking up new recipes, and creating new content to share with you all.

 

In this past month, we have posted some great late-summer and early fall recipes including avocado pesto pasta and grilled corn and tortellini salad. We've enjoyed delicious foods and drinks from Ba Bar and Coffeeholic in Seattle and restaurants across Hood River, OR. This month, we're fully headed into autumn in Seattle, so expect to see a lot of content focused on warming recipes, fall colors, and all things pumpkin. Fall is a beautiful time in the Pacific Northwest - we have changing leaves, fog, rain, and, yet, still many clear sunny days too. Restaurant capacity is still limited in King County, but we're excited to see what creative solutions come along as the weather changes. In the meantime, we'll be spending the gloomy weather cooking and baking to warm up inside and out.

 

We're also updating our website to include these newsletters and staying active on instagram and pinterest. Each Wednesday, we'll be sharing "what I eat in a (Wednes)day" photos and recipes in our instagram stories.
